Jeremiah

Chapter 5

22.   Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand [coastline] for the boundary of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot cross over it: and though the waves thereof toss to and fro themselves, yet they cannot prevail, overcome, be the victor; though they roar and become disturbed [and pound the rocks], yet they cannot cross over it.

Chapter 31

35.   Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun¹ for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon¹ and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth¹ the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

35.   ¹When he put the Moon in orbit on the 4th Day in Gen.1:17, creating the statutes of the Moon in Jer.31:35 so that when the sun stirs up the sea pulling it, the moon calms it down, resisting it (by gravitational pull).  Hence, the tossing to and fro of the waves in Jer. 5:22.
The word "divide" has this dual meaning:
which stirreth up the sea, that the waves thereof roar -English Revised Version
quieting the sea when its billows roar -Youngs Literal Translation
By the end of the 3rd Day, the water was in it's bounds which are the sea basin and coastline, but the unchecked sloshing of 1,000 years had made enough sand, and was prevented altogether from prevailing, on the 4th Day onward.  Jer. 5:22

Chapter 51

15.  He hath made the earth by his power, he hath fixed the world in place by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.
